I'm pleased with the song recitals programmed for next season in Barcelona. Despite some room for improvement, I like very much some of the singers who are coming and I really feel like listening to those others that I haven't yet heard live or singing art song. Beyond my personal likes, there is a better reference: most of these singers are scheduled in this present season or the next one at the Wigmore Hall in London (and, of course, at many other important venues in Europe).
Shall we review those recitals already programmed?

This blog has been hosted on the Blogger platform since that first post in February 2012. This week I'm posting here for the very last time; as the title says, we're moving. You'll see that, once we get over this fuss of moving, the new site is more friendly. With this post, I'm trying to make the moving easier for you; please keep reading up until the end, even though the text might be too much technical!
I wasn't able to remember what followed before or after, just this fragment; at first I didn't even “hear” the piano, just the tune. Where did that music come from? And… why in that precise moment? After a while (you know how those earworms work…so persistent) I knew there was a piano and later I could “hear” a voice. Knowing there were piano and voice, no doubt it was a song. But whose voice was that? And what were the words? I could only tell that it was a baritone voice, surprise, surprise!
